RECYCLE & REPAIRS

HOPE FOR HUMANITY!

Our mission is to embody Plan B principles in everything we do. We believe in thinking creatively and acting decisively to address the challenges facing humanity. Our approach emphasizes taking proactive steps to solve problems rather than waiting for assistance that may never arrive.

Recycle for Change

Building Futures, Recycling Today"

Our organization, PLAN B, aims to address the issues of waste management, unemployment, and illegal migration in Africa through a comprehensive approach of upcycling, recycling, and repair. By partnering with companies, institutions, government bodies, and the general public, we seek to collect unwanted but usable items and equipment, refurbish them, and provide training and job opportunities for young people in Africa. Through this initiative, we aim to not only reduce waste but also empower communities and mitigate the need for individuals to migrate in search of opportunities.

Vision:

Our vision is to create a sustainable solution to waste management while simultaneously fostering economic development and self-sufficiency in African communities. We envision a future where resources are utilized efficiently, jobs are created locally, and individuals are empowered to support themselves and their families.

PROJECT -GAMBIA

Gambia has been chosen as the initial testing ground to assess the feasibility of recycling unwanted products, reconditioning them for reuse, and thereby creating training opportunities, skill advancement, and employment for young people. Should this initiative prove successful in Gambia, the aim is to replicate its achievements by either establishing additional workshops within other African nations or extending the model to other countries.

Our Volunteers

Hello everyone

thank you for visiting Plan B. Our website is still a work in progress as we embark on this new journey. In the near future, we’ll be seeking volunteers to aid in the growth of our community. We’re specifically looking for individuals who are open to sharing and exchanging knowledge. Our goal is to establish a community where we not only train individuals but empower them to become trainers themselves, passing on their knowledge to others. We don’t use the term “charity” because we believe it implies short-term assistance. Instead, we’re focused on providing long-term support by equipping people with the tools and information they need to help themselves. This is the kind of volunteerism we’re seeking. Thank you for taking the time to read this.
